DNS, or Domain Name System, works like the internet’s phonebook. It changes easy-to-remember website names (like www.example.com) into the numerical addresses (like 192.0.2.1) that computers use to find each other on the internet.
DNS is important for a router because it allows the router to efficiently direct internet traffic by converting domain names into IP addresses.
How to setup DNS
Open Winbox -> Click on IP -> Select DNS –> Configure DNS Servers
