Step 5 : Configure DHCP Server

DHCP, or Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, is a system that automatically gives devices on a network their IP addresses and other important network settings. This makes it easy for devices like computers and phones to connect to the network and communicate with each other, without needing to be manually set up.

Without DHCP or Manual configuration of an IP address your device will not be able to connect to the network or internet.

How to setup DHCP server

Open Winbox -> Click on IP -> Click on DHCP Server -> Click on the DHCP Setup Button -> Follow onscreen Prompts.
